Warren's Quick Dry Enamels are formulated to withstand the elements and normal abuse. Quick Dry Enamels are ideal for factory application because they dry within minutes to a tack-free finish that fully cures within hours. Quick Dry Enamels are available in a wide range of colors and degrees of gloss, and they provide good exterior durability and corrosion resistance. Many common implement colors are in stock.

Surface Preparation

Remove all dirt, scale, and grease. Prime with P 3987-01, #14 Red Oxide Primer or equivalent for best results. Check with your Warren representative for a wide variety of primer types and colors.

Mixing and Thinning

Stir or shake well. Thin up to 33% with S 46, Spraying Thinner or another recommended thinner to spray. Thin sparingly with S 40, High Flash Naphtha to brush. Do not over-thin.

Application

Brush, roll, spray. Thin as directed for conventional or H.V.L.P. spray. Apply between 50 and 95ºF with the relative humidity less than 80%. Do not expose to dew or rain within four hours after painting. Humidity can exceed 80% and dry times can be shortened if heat (no more than 300ºF) is applied.

Dry Time

1/4 hour to touch. One hour to handle. Eight hours hard.

Recoat Time

Before one hour and after eight hours.

High gloss white film.

Cured Film Properties
