Surface Preparation |
N/A Remove all dirt, scale, and grease. Prime with P 3987-01, #14 Red Oxide Primer or equivalent for best results. Check with your Warren representative for a wide variety of primer types and colors. |
Mixing and Thinning |
N/A Stir or shake well. Thin up to 33% with S 46, Spraying Thinner or another recommended thinner to spray. Thin sparingly with S 40, High Flash Naphtha to brush. Do not over-thin. |
Application |
N/A Brush, roll, spray. Thin as directed for conventional or H.V.L.P. spray. Apply between 50 and 95ºF with the relative humidity less than 80%. Do not expose to dew or rain within four hours after painting. Humidity can exceed 80% and dry times can be shortened if heat (no more than 300ºF) is applied. |
