Surface Preparation

N/A Remove all dirt, scale, and grease. For best results, shotblast or obtain a commercial blast. Sanding or wire brush removal of any oxidation or scale is recommended if blasting is not feasible. Do not prime.

Mixing and Thinning

N/A Stir or shake well. Thinning should not be necessary. If necessary, thin sparingly with S 46, Spraying Thinner; S 3, VM&P Naphtha; or another recommended thinner. Do not over-thin.

N/A Apply as supplied for airless spray. Thin as directed for conventional or H.V.L.P. spray. Apply between 50 and 95ºF with the relative humidity less than 80%. Do not expose to dew or rain within eight hours after painting. Do not allow the painted structure to exceed 140ºF for at least 24 hours after application. For best results apply two coats.
